Kathleen Kila

Dr. Kathleen Kila grew up in Maryland and completed her Bachelors of Science in Biology at Salisbury University. She was a veterinary assistant for two years before pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She moved to Grenada for three years while studying veterinary medicine at St. George’s University and completed her clinical year at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She then returned to Maryland and has been enjoying her career in small animal private practice.

Dr. Kila has two cats, Ovie and Trident, and a sweet chihuahua named Dilly, who she rescued from Animal Control after fixing his wounded eye. Dr. Kila enjoys the beach, traveling, game nights with friends, and taking care of our lovely community’s furry friends! She is very excited to be with our North Laurel Animal Hospital community and to provide the utmost medical care for every pet who walks into her exam room!
